Protect Your Vehicle from Theft

EG Assurance has many options to help protect vehicles from being stolen. Anti-theft products include body panel labels, microscopic dots, and unique numbers etched onto windows.

Body Panel Labels

Labels with phosphorus backing are placed onto the vehicle's body panels, door jams, under the hood, and under the trunk deck. A permanent number is registered in a national database and a warning label is affixed to the side window to make the vehicle less attractive to thieves, thus aiding in the prevention of theft.

Micro Dots

Micro dots that are virtually undetectable unless under a black light, are affixed to various parts of the vehicle. These microdots contain unique numbers which are registered with the NICB, ISO, and other national databases, and a warning label is affixed to the side window. The label makes the vehicle less attractive to thieves and deters theft.

Window Etch

A permanent number is etched onto the front windshield and side and back windows of the vehicle. The number is registered with a national database and a warning label is affixed to the side window to make the vehicle less attractive to thieves, thus aiding in the prevention of theft.
